Households find common garbage bins are over flooding and causing foul smell and can lead to diseases. There are instances of people slinging their household trash into the forest near by as well.

I’m Utpal Pande, a fellow citizen of Nainital and the person behind this initiative. Professionally, I run a local design studio called Pandesign, but this platform NainiNow comes from a personal place.

Like many of you, I’ve felt the need for a space where citizens can voice concerns, share ideas, and stay informed about what’s happening in our town. Something rooted in our local reality—not just news from the outside.

That’s what NainiNow is meant to be:
A forum by and for the people of Nainital. Whether you're speaking up about civic issues, highlighting everyday experiences, or just introducing yourself to others who care—your voice matters.

You’re welcome to post in English or Hindi, whichever feels more natural to you.
